Aronov Announces Plans For New Ansley Lakes Neighborhood In East Montgomery

Today Aronov announced Ansley Lakes, a new residential community totaling approximately 800 acres to be developed on land between Ray Thorington Road and Park Crossing Boulevard in east Montgomery. The Montgomery City Council approved final plans for phase one of the project Tuesday.

The first phase of the neighborhood will consist of approximately 130 acres of residential and 18 acres of village style retail. With an entrance on Ray Thorington Road, the first phase of Ansley Lakes will offer a variety of home sizes and styles on home sites ranging from 50’ to 100’. Current plans include a swim club, lakes and recreation areas, as well as parks and green spaces tucked along sidewalk-lined streets throughout the neighborhood. Homes in Ansley Lakes will combine charming exterior architecture with modern yet classic interiors emphasizing open floor plans, flexible spaces, detailed finishes and outdoor living opportunities.

At the entrance of the neighborhood, a retail village will feature architecture having residential detail and materials with gathering areas, green spaces and manicured landscaping to create a relaxed village atmosphere. There will be easy access from the neighborhood for pedestrians and bikes, as well as access from Ray Thorington Road, so that residents of the greater area may enjoy the services, restaurants and other offerings that will be available in this unique village retail center.

“Ansley Lakes will offer a variety of home types that we feel will appeal to most anyone looking for a home in Montgomery,” stated Jake Aronov, Chairman and CEO of Aronov Realty Management, Inc. “From first time homebuyers to families to empty nesters, there will be something for everyone.”

Groundbreaking for phase one of Ansley Lakes is expected to be within the next few months.

“The retail village at Ansley Lakes is designed to feel as if it grew organically over time, offering a collection of restaurants and convenience retail in a relaxed, pedestrian friendly environment with beautiful architecture, landscaping and understated signage,” added Mr. Aronov.

Phase one of Ansley Lakes will include 278 lots. The conceptual plans for the entire 800 acre development will be presented within the next few months.
